Amina Nada is an Egyptian writer and producer based in Los Angeles. After moving to New York in 2014 to pursue her MFA in TV Production, she was awarded the BBC America Diversity Award and nominated for a College Emmy. Amina has worked on acclaimed documentaries such as “Tickling Giants” and “The Dissident,” and the feature film “Mosul,” now available on Netflix.

Her projects have premiered at prestigious festivals including Tribeca, Sundance, Venice, and Toronto. She produced “Zafar,” which premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival, and “Awayy,” which debuted at SXSW. Amina’s work focuses on amplifying Arab voices, particularly those of Arab women, in her storytelling.

Currently, Amina is in the process of developing two TV series and a feature film.
